Graphite & Silverpoint
Welcome to Erin’s gallery dedicated to the versatile depth of modern Graphite and the historic tradition of Silverpoint.
While graphite allows for rich, deep shadows and soft blending, silverpoint is a meticulous technique using a stylus of solid silver, copper, or other metals. Because silverpoint cannot be erased and naturally oxidizes to a warm, sepia patina over time, silverpoint pieces are true living heirlooms evolving in character the longer they are in your home.
